First Appearance: The Team-Building Hike (April 12, 2000)

When Dwayne took the GPF crew on a team-building hike, all sorts of chaos ensued. The gang was suddenly startled by a bear, who ran Dwayne and Nick up a tree and sent the others fleeing. That bear is none other than Wallace T. Bruin, an escaped circus bear trained by a disgruntled former Yale literature professor. An accomplished author, playwright, and poet (well, maybe in a Vogon sense), Wallace kept the crew entertained until Fooker managed to save everyone. Accidentally, of course. He resurfaced later to help reunite the GPF Software gang after they had been scattered by Trudy's manipulations (see Surreptitious Machinations, Chapter 7: The Tapestry Unravels).
