She's ruthless. She's cut-throat. She's downright diabolical. And much to Fred the Slime Mold's chagrin, she just happened to have been Trent's lawyer during their lawsuit. Mercedes de la Croix is a young, up-and-coming lawyer just looking for a huge, high-profile case to propel her into the limelight, and she thought suing a sentient slime mold was just her ticket to stardom. Unfortunately, she just happened to have the legal know-how to make Fred's life miserable. While Mercedes was ultimately and soundly defeated by Nicole in the final outcome, she certainly knows how to rebound.
