Groundwork
Nick has built a powerful free energy device called the Velociraptor. Its first use was in the Battle of Manhattan.
Nick is not working for GPF during this battle; he works instead for a company named JCN, as does Trudy. The rest of GPF isn't working at the moment; they are loosely affiliated with the UGA.
Nick to Statue of Liberty
At the beginning of the battle, Nick is at the Statue of Liberty. He remains there throughout the battle.
Major Sub-Events
Chuck Dies
Chuck, who is under Trudy's mind control, had been following Ki around and reporting on her movements, finally catches up to her at the base of the Statue of Liberty. But instead of stopping Ki from proceeding up, he joins her. Though Trudy still affects him by causing immense pain, Chuck has made a decision not to help Trudy anymore. Trudy is about to kill Fooker when Chuck makes a last second save. Trudy, unhappy with this, turns the device on and lets it run unchecked, causing a brain hemmorhage or aneurysm leading to his death. Having saved Fooker, Chuck has finally redeemed himself.
Nick Rejects Trudy, Turns Off Velociraptor
Nick, having not seen any of the GPF crew in person, is confronted by Ki. She explains Trudy's plans for world domination and gives Nick the evidence(Trudy's own handwriting) to back it up. Trudy admits it's true. Nick then turns off Velociraptor and leaves her.
Dexter, meanwhile, has taken care of Mr. Inertia all by himself. He was seemingly unstoppable until Dexter volunteered himself for the job.
Sharon hacks CRUDE's network
Sharon hacked CRUDE's network and, after seeing that the blast that would destroy New York City could not be stopped, altered the target to be a few miles out into the Atlantic Ocean. This was far enough out that it could be seen from Manhattan, but didn't do any damage to it.
