First Appearance: Surreptitious Machinations (Chapter 3: Trials and Tribulations) (February 11, 2002)

Another field agent from the Undisclosed Government Agency, Agent #12 first appears as Fooker's legal counsel during his murder trial. Agent #12 is a no-nonsense, business-like professional whose primary focus is the task at hand. As well as being a secret agent in one of the most covert spy agencies in the world, she is a professional lawyer with extensive legal training. Unfortunately, she doesn't have many legal victories under her belt, since she tends to accept many clients who are "hopeless causes," stemming from her weakness for "helping the underdog find justice in an unjust world." She appears to hold a personal grudge against "James Baud" for reasons yet unexplained, and is a bit smitten by her employer and superior, "Amadeus". She often uses the name "Maddie O'Hara" in her professional practice, but it is unclear whether this is her true name or simply an alias for her cover. Agent #12 proved invaluable in helping our gang defeat C.R.U.D.E. at the Battle of Manhattan (see Surreptitious Machinations, Chapter 8: Wars and Confrontations), and in helping James Baud hunt down Dr. Nefarious. However, she also seems to have developed feelings for Fooker, but apparently our favorite ubergeek appears to prefer redheads.
