01.16.06 - Two Months Later . . .

. . . the entire Faultie Circuit website has been recoded into CSS and PHP. Updates were made to several sections, including the Gamester Sightings and Loose Threads. A new section was also added to the Fun Stuff: Faultie recipes. Take a moment to see what other Faulties are cooking up.

By far the biggest change, however, is the removal of the statistics and its replacement, the Faultie Circuit Official Unofficial GPF Wiki. There's not much to see there yet, but, hopefully, with a little help from the GPF community, it'll be the best place to go on the 'net for in-depth information on GPF.

So please take a moment to look around. Any questions or suggestions should be directed to the e-mail or forum handle on the right.
11.16.05 - Faultie Circuit Updates and Wiki

This news post is echoed on the GPF forum here.

Since Jeff mentioned the Faultie Circuit in the guest comic commentary, it's probably long overdue that I say why it hasn't updated since February. I'll try to keep it short and to the point.

Simply put: I burnt myself out on GPF. I needed to take a breather from the fansite and the community. So I didn't update the fansite and disappeared from the forum for a few months. I still kept up with the comic, but didn't check it as often.

And then I got the e-mail from Jeff requesting a guest comic.

It was then I remembered the fan website hadn't updated for a while, and I should do something about it. The biggest hurdle is the statistics, which takes several hours for data collection. On reflection, I see that statistical information for character appearances in a webcomic is pretty much useless unless you're obsessed about it. So what I propose is that the statistics section be removed and replaced with a GPF Wiki, explaining (to the best of our ability) all the whos, whats, whens, wheres and hows of the comic.
