Cranberry Pecan Conserve

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar (more if you don't like your cranberries very tart)
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon freshly grated orange peel
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
4 cups fresh cranberries (frozen work fine, too)
1/2 cup chopped, toasted pecans
Directions
Bring first 5 ingredients to simmer in heavy large saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries and cook until berries pop, stirring occasionally. Stir in pecans. Cool, cover and refrigerate until well chilled.
